GREENUP OLD FASHION DAYS

VENDOR REQUIREMENTS

 

 

ITEMS NOT TO BE SOLD OR GIVEN AWAY

  1. Weapons of any kind, this includes guns and ammunition.

  2. Silly String, Fart/Stink Spray, Cherry Bombs, etc.

  3. Drug, Alcohol, or Tobacco Related Products.

  4. Any item that may be viewed as a racial slur.

  5. Any item deemed by the OFD Committee as inappropriate.

 

 

VENDORS MUST SUPPLY

  1. You must supply all items for your booth, including chairs, tables, tens, etc.

  2. Set-up will be WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th, after 5:00PM.

    1. Please do not attempt to set-up prior to this time, as it will interfere with local business on Main Street.

    2. Please do not attempt to set-up on Thursday morning as it will interfere with morning activities.

  3. All vendors are required to pay Kentucky State Sales Tax.

  4. All vendors (excluding church groups) must have a Greenup City Vendors License (cost is $20.00).

  5. Food Vendors must have a permit from the Greenup County Health Department.

    1. The cost is $50.00 if bought a week before the festival. After that, the price doubles.

  6. Venders using PEPSI Trailers are to supply their own extension cords.

    1. A maximum of two (2) crock pots or fryers, and two (2) coffee pots are allowed.

  7. This is largely a Family Oriented Event and we will not tolerate any problems. Should problems arise, you will be asked to leave Old Fashion Days, without a refund and will not be invited to future Old Fashion Days events.

  8. Greenup Old Fashion Days is a PEPSI Sponsored Event.

    1. All products must be bought from the Franklin Furnace Pepsi Facility.

    2. All Vendors that intend to sell soft drinks or water must contact Selena Harrison (740) 354-9685. Only 20 oz. bottles will be sold at Old Fashion Days for a minimum price of $2.00

 

No Bag-in-a-box NO Cans!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 

Any vendor not complying with this rule will be removed from OLD FASHION DAYS events for this year and future events. No Refund will be given.

 

 

Water will be a limited resource and it is in limited supply. If you need a water source, Please make the committee aware on the application or when you submit it.

You are responsible for your own water hose.

Local Churches will receive a 40% discount on Food Booth Prices.

Craft Booths & Business Vendors

          

Discounts are given to artisan vendors who will be demonstrating/making during the event. 

NOTICE TO HANDCRAFTED VENDORS

 

If you hand make items for sale and are willing to do demonstrations during Old Fashion Days we will have the Artisan Alley area again for 2022.  The cost for setting up will only be $40.00 for those artisans that are willing to do shows for the public to watch.

 

 

NEW RULE ESTABLISHED IN 2021 AND GOING FORWARD

Booth Price is $80.00 if prepaid, if paid after September 1st price increases to $100.00, Food Trucks will be assessed a Late Fee of $50.00 after September 1st, Unless Prior arraignments are made.

Pepsi Trailers (Sold as 10’x10’ space) will cost $250.00 (this includes set-up). Old Fashion Days does not provide these trailers (4units available). To rent a Pepsi trailer, please call Selena Harrison at the Franklin Furnace Pepsi Facility at (740) 354-9685.

 

Opening Ceremonies will begin at 9:00AM on Thursday, September 29th. ALL vendors are encouraged to have their booths open for service during all hours of operation. Our festival will be open from 9:00AM – 10:00PM.    By not being open all hours of operation, you are depriving someone else of a space.  Please make arrangements to be open and ready for business during festival hours.

 

We will make every effort to locate you in your usual or favorite spot, however we do not guarantee anyone the same space year after year. We operate on a First Come, First Serve policy. All applications and payments should be mailed back to the OFD Committee as soon as possible.

The Old Fashion Days Committee will award the best-decorated Vendor Booth at the completion of the festival.

 

Old Fashion Days is not responsible for any damage or theft to your booth or personal property. We do provide security at all times from Wednesday-Saturday of the event.

 

Cancellation Policy: Due to limited space all food vendors will be allowed to cancel registration and that will only be 2 weeks or longer in advance of the event.  Only partial refunds will be allowed for these vendors.  Due to reserving the very limited spaces and vendors not showing up we have instituted this policy moving forward.

 

Weather Notice: We are unable to control the weather, no refunds will be given nor liability taken for loss of business or loss of merchandise due to the weather.  Some street flooding may occur during periods of rain in the town.  Please be mindful of the weather and take appropriate steps to move your merchandise off the ground level in the event that rain occurs.
